Hi, my name is Jessica Green and i am the self advocate for Down syndrome Indiana and what I do to make a difference for individuals to see that life can get complicated. Having to be allowed to make our own choices, my family loves me for who I am and what i am they always celebrate my disability. you should always feel good about yourself I am very happy to have a family that will always be their for me when I need them.
When it comes to making friends sometimes it can get hard because you never know if your individual gets fun of or being called a bad name. But look at the bright side nobody is perfect. I do a lot great things because I also work, hanging with my friends, being with my family at times, going out in the community, and many more. I love my life because of the people that are all around me.
