SETTING THE PACE: NDSC Convention July 11-13 Indianapolis


Call for Speakers!

Have you heard a great speaker that you think might consider presenting at the National Convention! The NDSC is now accepting proposals for knowledgeable, family-friendly speakers to present 90 minute workshops on topics related to Down Syndrome, Accepting proposals will range the lifespan of Down Syndrome and address topics like: Health and medical concerns, including therapies, education,  including preschool, transition, &  post-secondary, employment, living options, friendships and social relationships, advocacy and systems change, including legislation; Speech & commination; aging,: Positive behavior support ; and much more.


Be Creative! Proposals should be interactive, provide "How to" Strategies and evidence-based research as often as possible. Workshops will take place on Saturday, July 12 or Sunday 13. Please only submit a proposal if your are available to present on either day! the last workshop will end at 12noon on Sunday. Workshops speakers who are selected will be responsible for securing their own travel arrangements at their own expense. Honoraria or speaker fees not available. This policy has allowed the NDSC to keep registration fees as low as possible. Presentations in Spanish are Welcome.
