HI, I went to the Self Advocate Activity. It was called "fitness by Design" Their was a Personal Trainer Phil Clark and Julie Peterson the Nutritionist. They have a program for Individuals with disabilities it is called Beyond Muscle. I think this a great way to stay active and energized it will Also help you sleep better.
In this Beyond Muscle program also have Benefits of strength training
Increasing muscle strength, tone and endurance
Increasing lean muscle tissue
Increasing Joint function
Improved Appearance and body composition
Reduced Rick of injury and illness
Fitness by Design
